Note the danger of mixing up it with the air pump switchover valve.

Divert air switchover valve task To apply vacuum to both air switchover valves from the vacuum reservoir when actuation of the membrane cells takes place.

Divert air switchover valve structure/function Supply of power to the electromagnetic valve takes place from terminal 87. The control unit ME actuates the valve from the earth side. An electromagnet with anchor actuates a valve which switches between the connections.
