Task Supplemental information, if combustion misfirings are detected (combustion misfiring perhaps due to fuel starvation) If fuel reserve warning light ON or if the fuel tank is filled to less than approx. 1/4 or to more than 3/4, the leak test of the fuel system is suppressed (then only coarse leak test).

Design/function The instrument cluster indicates to the ME control unit (Engine 120: right ME control unit) fuel reserve indicator lamp ON or OFF. With CAN compatible instrument cluster the information exchange is performed via CAN.
