| A steel hollow cylinder (measuring element, b) is made to vibrate at a set frequency by means of piezo elements.
4 pairs of these piezo elements are attached to the cylinder opposite each other. The vibration patterns occurring between the piezo elements shift depending on the rotary motion of the vehicle.
